Bidra med feedbackAdditionally, the complimentary shuttle service I remembered from my previous stay now only operates on weekends. This was disappointing, as I hadn't anticipated having to spend money on jitneys or Ubers daily to get to and from the Boardwalk. I would consider staying at Harrah's again, but only if I can secure another Bayview room. I now understand not to expect the same level of staffing and shuttle service I experienced in the past. With fewer visitors coming to Atlantic City, it seems that the casinos are trying to cut costs, but this leads to dissatisfied guests who may not return. This approach doesn't seem like a sustainable long-term business model for Harrah's!
Harrah's is one of those hotels even if you don't gamble there are things for you to do, which is great. Like the pool, shops, spa, arcade, etc. and a good selections of restaurants and bars. Hotel rooms are good size, but... there were visible stain on top of the bedding for shampoo and conditioner they still offer those small bottles... definitely need to upgrade to the large bottles like most other hotels. Medium and wash cloth are very thin, not a quality feel to them. We do recommend staying here and hope to see more updates throughout the resort.
The room itself was acceptable, although the bed had some rips in the leather on the sides and it didn’t smell particularly fresh. Additionally, there was an empty pizza box left in the closet. They didn’t service our room at all during our two-night stay. I tried calling housekeeping and the front desk, but no one answered. So, I had to go down to the front desk to get towels, which led to another 30-minute wait in line behind people checking in. Eventually, they told me they would submit a request for towels. It's clear that they don't truly understand hospitality here; they seem to cut corners at every turn. Parts of the hotel aren't air-conditioned. When we arrived, only two elevators in the self-parking garage were working, and by the time we checked out, only one was operational, leading to a logistical hassle. Thankfully, I moved my car to avoid the elevator situation altogether. At $900 for two nights over a weekend in July, there were just too many issues to justify the cost. Plus, you're not even on the main strip, which means you have to drive to get to the beach. And the prices for food and drinks at the hotel are ridiculous—$39 for a pizza? You've got to be kidding! Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place. Save your money and stay somewhere else!
Never win here. Although, it is cozy and familiar, I just never leave with anything, after 10+ years, I'll be venturing away from the Caesars Rewards for some fun a little down the boardwalk. I have played at 2 other Casinos online and In person, and have banked some cash. CEASARS, Harrahs specifically, just doesn't show the love MGM, Ocean and Resorts seems to be. No rooms service, no where to eat after 9. I see no Luxury in the future orlf Caesars, sorry Harrahs, I leave here with no wins on a regular. I'm happy to see that you do accommodate , ball players, cheer squads and other various conventions. It just is starting to feel like we are paying for their comfort. Unfortunately, it seems time to move elsewhere. Thanks for everything throughout the year ls.
For hang out spots here I recommend the x bar in the center of the casino. It gets very lively at night and they play awesome music such as reggaeton. They have a cool enclosed pool area and at night it turns into an entertainment venue with a DJ and all. If you want more loungey visit the Eden lounge. At night they have a live cover band playing music. The bar makes craft cocktails. For food, I recommend AC Burgers, it has something for everyone. The prices are decent and it has variety. The service is quick so it can get you in and out to go party. And if you need a late night bite, the caffe taza is open late for quick bites.
