Bidra med feedbackSat outside and watched people Tee off at the golf course and had lunch. The bacon blue burger was the best we have ever had. The pulled pork quesadilla was very good as well.Melissa our waiteress made us believe in good service again. A rare thing these days. Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable.
Excellent salmon over risotto and French dip sandwich was out of this works!! Staff is nice and attentive. Very reasonably priced and good portions.
Some endeavors, say golf, are inherently unpredictable. Perhaps that's a key reason Freemans' Grill stands out: it exudes consistency and in the best way. Stalwart servers Max, Ashley and Manager regularly exceed expectations. And regardless of how many putts lipped out or pesky pines impinged on one's chip to the green, Freemans' service makes you feel like you just hoisted the Club Championship trophy after an extra hole. And the fresh fare and generous libations simply complete the experience. Recently, my wife and I sauntered in late morning to just catch the warm, hefty breakfast sandwich a breakfast staple here whether you're a scratch player, weekend wannabe or humble roving foodie. Whether going straight egg and cheese on an oversized English or bagel or adding a heap of mild ground chorizo (Portuguese sausage bacon or sausage, this sandwich soars . And did I mention its customary feature a tender potato patty? If you're thirsty, coffee's strong and mimosa's come tall, tantalizing and as bubbly as a Lawrence Welk re run (OK, maybe not quite so much. For chicken wing connoisseurs, these choice meaty morsels rock and come lightly fried with a choice of home made sauces (my wife opted for the sweet tangy Thai dip . In short, Freemans' Grill is a perennial high point on each visit to these challenging links whether dining inside or on the spacious veranda.
We have always asked, if we're not golfers, why would we go to a golf course (Captains) grill? Having lunch at Freemans Grill answered our question great food, great service, and a great atmosphere in two dimensions. Inside is a wonderful sports pub ambience while outside has beautiful foods overlooking a beautiful golf course. We shared an appetizer of calamari with a spectacular assortment of peppers, tomatoes, and arugula that is over the top! My wife had the club with a generous portion of house sliced turkey, bacon, and dressed for the prom I had the Wagyu Kobe beef smash burger with cheese on a kick ass brioche bun and dressed for the Emperor! And, the staff was simply awesome! Attentive but not intrusive, cheerful, accommodating and professional. Five Stars for food and service. Can't wait to return! Someday we'll be old enough to walk in the woods chasing a little ball; but, until then we'll be dinning at Fremans!
I'm hesitant to write a review because I don't want word getting out about this hidden gem. This isn't a restaurant at a golf course this is one of the best restaurants on the entire Cape. You can tell Sean, Max, and the ENTIRE staff really love working here. The food is amazing, the drinks are very good, and the atmosphere is always alive. This has become our go to restaurant for both lunch and dinner, even if we don't have a tee time that day. Can't say enough good things about what Sean and his team have done here. A all the way around.
