Bidra med feedbackOverall disappointing experience food-wise. Very efficient and quick staff. Prices are OK. Took a salad and as main dish tagliatelle Carbonara. I am still wondering why they put scallops in this dish. Completely un necessary.
Arrived early and very accomplished Francesca checked us in early. The room was perfect except for the shower. Francesca changed the room for a more accessible shower, no problem. Fantastic service everything understated and efficient. Will definitely come back.
We had dinner on the first night that we stayed in the area and booked a table to return the following evening. We found the food, staff and location were brilliant. On our first visit we had St Jacques served on a skewer with chorizo they were sweet and delicious washed down with a highly recommended bottle of Bordeaux. On our second visit we shared a plate of oysters...ooo la la fabulous the first time my husband had tried them...served on a bed of seaweed with wedges of lemon and a shallot vinaigrette for our main course I had the burger with camembert and bacon cooked medium, it was very tasty and a large portion and my husband had lamb equally as good. Our waitress was extremely pleasant and helpfull as our French is very limited and she explained everything in English...my husband is a coeliac and requires a gluten free diet so this was most reassuring. If we return to this area again we will most definitely pop in for more culinary delights. Thank you
We had there dinner. The food was good without being spectacular. The aperitives we both had were a sallad with a warm bun (rol) with warm goat chese and a plate of sea food salad very good. The role of the cook in both was that of a successfull decorator the salads looked great and the taste was not bad. For mains we we had merlu (hake) and mussels with fries. We had also a decent wine Languedoc red so we can record it a succesfull diner after several bad ones. Service was very good too and the price was very moderate.
Très déçu malgré de très nombreux passages au paravent. Le service est bâclé et pas aimable. En arrivant à 13h15 nos assiettes sont décevantes salade cuite à force de mariner dans la vinaigrette et les serveuses vraiment pas aimable (elles regardent leur montre avant de prendre la commande et quand elles viennent elles oublient un minimum de politesse envers le client). Si j'ai un resto à faire prochainement Le Grand Pavois ne fera pas parti de mes choix. Dommage car les patrons sont sympa ils mériteraient du personnel plus compétent.
