Bidra med feedbackThe food is hit or miss unfortunatelyThe service and management is terrible however.
The last 2 times we've gone there, the older lady was unfriendly almost to the point of hostile.
Great viewCraft beer was served in ice cold mugsWe had two appetizersWe had the alligator sausage and Fried green tomatoes with shrimp.
We came for lunch. If you have a run about (i.e small) boat you can tie up at the public dock. This is the best little cafe. Kinda funky, kinda fun, great music, great service----and the food is the best as well. On a sunny day the outside deck is a must. We have visited this cafe a few times in the past. Always consistently good.CLOSED ON SUNDAYS
We decided to try this spot after walking around the area. We ate out on the patio which was perfect on a summer night. The prices were a tad high - on point or higher than the hotel we were staying at. Overall, the food was good for the most part. Not bad, but not New Orleans-good either. But what can you expect (my expectations weren't very high.) We shared the jambalaya, bayou chicken, seasonal salad, alligator sausage, and mussels. The standout dish was definitely the bayou chicken. It had cream and I believe it was breaded. Yum! Everything else was just alright.
