Bidra med feedbackI visited this restaurant with my mother-in-law, her boyfriend, my wife, and our two-month-old baby, and we had a wonderful experience. The place had a nice, cozy atmosphere. You order at the counter, and the staff brings the food to your table. Everyone was incredibly friendly. They make their own coffee syrups, and my iced mocha was absolutely divine. The food exceeded my expectations, especially since we were there for the brunch menu on the weekend. I ordered the chorizo burrito served 'wet,' and the ranchero sauce tasted homemade—it was delicious! My wife opted for the corned beef hash with horseradish sour cream, which I also thought was fantastic. The only downside was that they were out of ketchup, but everything else was excellent. I would definitely return!
I absolutely adore this café! It's perfectly situated in the charming Manette neighborhood and offers a variety of vegan and vegetarian options. The vegan tofu scramble is fantastic! The staff is friendly and very attentive.
I really enjoyed the breakfast potatoes! I ordered a build-your-own scramble, and it turned out fantastic. The server was very welcoming. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes!
The Daily pays great attention to detail. Their coffee is outstanding, and they prioritize using locally sourced ingredients whenever they can. I also appreciate their commitment to zero waste in their takeout products—it's refreshing to see a business that truly cares about the environment rather than just focusing on profits. Everything I've tried there has been delicious, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is inviting and relaxing.
The sandwich features perfectly sliced tri-tip steak, blue cheese, caramelized shallots, roasted tomatoes, Dijon vinaigrette, garlic aioli, and arugula, all served on a hoagie roll. It was bursting with flavor, yet not so overwhelming that I couldn’t enjoy it after a few bites. In fact, I devoured the entire sandwich and was left wanting more after finishing the last bite. It’s not that the sandwich was small—it’s quite hearty and plenty for an average person. But the beef was extremely tender and juicy, complimented by warm blue cheese and burst-of-flavor roasted tomatoes. The right balance of vinaigrette and aioli added just enough support to the bread. I could have kept eating if I hadn’t reached my limit! I can’t wait to come back soon with my husband. Great job, Kimberley Campbell! You should be proud of what you’ve accomplished.
