Sonny's Drive In - Brampton

I ordered the Tuesday special cheeseburger, fries, and a soft drink for two, which came to a total of $20.20. The portions were generous, especially the fries which were chunky and crispy even after a 20-minute drive home. The burger bun was extremely soft and fresh, and the patty was flavorful, although the toppings were generic. The staff were all very friendly. One thing to note is that this establishment only accepts cash. It can be challenging to navigate the parking lot during busy times. Despite the location being a main deterrent, I will likely visit again.

This restaurant is always the best! Even though I now live out of the country, whenever I am in town, I must have a burger from here. It has always been the best burger I have ever had.

However, the star of the show is definitely the fries, especially when paired with the legendary gravy. The gravy is rich and full of flavor. While adding cheese turns it into poutine, I personally prefer to stick with just fries and gravy. The portion size is generous, so I recommend ordering a half and half - half fries, half onion rings. This way, you can dip your fries in gravy while enjoying the rings with ketchup, almost like having two sides with your delicious burger!

Almost everyone I know loves sonny's. The only thing I get there is the poutine and its amazing! One day my friend got just fries from there and we didn't like them at all which is weird because i like the poutine. I think you should go to sonnys one day and try it. I would recommend the poutine and burgers because most people that get there burgers like them and from my personal experience I know that I love the poutine there.

Perfect Burger Joint. You want a char-broiled burger with lots of fresh toppings made by surly men who never smile with ginormous servings of fresh cut fries?? This is the place. Burgers are good, fries are GREAT but you need to share them, the portions are huge. Onion rings are good. Lotsa grease, a fun guilty pleasure when you've had a hard day and want to drown your sorrows in grease and bits of char off the grill.
