This is the best lemon meringue pie I have ever had!!!

I was born and raised in Brainerd, and The Barn was the first place I remember eating with my dad as a boy. The cake, made Rite, all amazing. When I returned after 20 years after I went to college, that was my first station. Brainerd had changed so much, but my dear memories of The Barn didn't change a bit. The diner is small, picturesque, feels like at home. The smell of food was amazing. Take a place, order quickly, not be fussy. This is not a place to change the menu, this place should order what they have and be amazed. The staff was friendly and fast. And the food came out even faster. I ordered two of the rites made with cettes. Then I had an apple cake for dessert. Ready and finished... I couldn't have been happier. Memories, amazing food, simple execution of food and experience. That makes Diners amazing in America. Food for the masses without prestress. That's why The Barn is the perfect diner for me.

Delicious food! This place only accepts cash. But the food is great! I had the Speck Ranch chicken omelette. Charlotte was our server and she was great! Look at this.

I love this place absolutely... If you weren't there, you have to go. The barn is a lake area stack that has deep roots and a long history. Look at her maid rite when you're here.

Excellent homemade food. Excessive expectations. Very recommended. Charlotte is a rock star!
