Oak Stone Downtown Bradenton

I usually don't write reviews after just one visit, but I have to say, this restaurant is a must-visit for locals looking to impress out of town guests! The atmosphere here is unlike any other in the Palmetto/Bradenton area, far surpassing the typical waterfront joints like Woody's or Whiskey Joe's. The rooftop views are amazing, the pizzas are delicious, and the drinks are top-notch (make sure to ask for Mike at the downstairs bar). It's a perfect starting point if you plan on exploring the bars and nightlife on Old Main Street, all within walking distance.

The rooftop bar experience was disappointing as the four bartenders were unable to make a drink efficiently. There was a lot of goofing around, and when we ordered pickles, we received fried cauliflower instead after a long wait of 32 minutes. Additionally, we noticed that their menu no longer included items like tacos and calamari. The pickles we did receive were very greasy with the breading falling off. We would not recommend ordering them.

I tried the Funghi pizza and it was absolutely delicious! I also ordered a flight this time.

Our first time here, we had the Hawaiian heat and the house salad. Delicious!!! Julie was our server fantastic!

They were open later than many surrounding places so we chose them out of convenience. We had the Carolina wings and Philly egg rolls and a couple El Chapo Margaritas. Service was super slow but the server was as attentive as possible (they were slammed . Everything was good. No complaints. Nice atmosphere. Also nothing stands out as super memorable either. It was raining so no outside seating (but it looks great in pictures! There is an extensive list of wine, whiskey, bourbon and craft cocktails Next time I'll try something else- the pizza looked pretty great!
