Bidra med feedbackIt took me a while to try Tsuru, but consistent patronage there, even at he most unlikely of times, sparked my curiosity and I am glad I gave it a go. Quick and polite service and the extensive menu are drawcards. The food is yum and fresh.
One of my faves, can't get enough of the fresh seafood. So delicious, every time. Never pass up an opportunity for a plum wine
I use to come here often for post work out sushi snack. The rolls are pretty big and filling at an affordable price. I tried most of them and all are pretty good for ordinary sushi place
Absolutely disgraceful. I am a local that has been coming to this cafe now from its inception in late 2013 and all I can say is that it must have changed ownership or is under new management. The quality of the food has declined dramatically, as has the portion sizes, while the prices have skyrocketed. I understand and can appreciated the price of ingredients have gone up and they have to follow suit but what you are getting for what you are paying is just terrible. The food use to be so so delicious and it was consistently good but now it just seems poor. The image is of 2 x Katsu Chicken salads. I paid $25 and what we got was 5 x small pieces of tomato, 4 x tiny pieces of cucumber, 7 x small and very dry (overcooked) strips of chicken, NO sauce (put my own sweetchilli and Mayo on it) and a half full bowl of cabbage (pathetic). We also ordered Chilli Chicken but upon arriving to collect it was told that they didn't have any (at the time of the call to place the order this was not mention so we ended up short 2 meals). The Aburi Salmon Treat which was one of their stand out dishes was terrible. The rice tastes soapy and it was just not very nice. Lastly, the pan fried gyoza was soggy and not pleasant. Its such a shame that this place has gone down hill. I used to have no hesitation in spending money here as the food was always 5 star and the service friendly. Sadly to say both food and service have have taken a nose dive. Do yourself a favor, unless you have money to burn on sub par food, give this place a miss.
Not too bad. We got miso soup, sashimi, terryaki beef and karage chicken. Byo wine : there happens to be a bottle shop right next door. Very convenient. We sat outside with a heater, which was nice. Service not too bad either.
