Bidra med feedbackWonderful server. Cute outdoor patio. Cocktail and food was good but not stellar. I had chicken picatta. Chicken was basic. Sauce had a lot of raw garlic. Would not get again.
Sometimes you just hit gold. Clay Pot is gold through and through. We were in rural Ohio on the way from Quebec to Wisconsin. The specials were rack of New Zealand venison and Atlantic mackerel! Really? Absolutely superb any five star restaurant wouldbe proud to have served a meal of this quality. The service was outstanding.
We dined at the Clay Pot Bistro for two consecutive nights, and both experiences were remarkable. On the first night, we had the Tuscan Salad and seafood risotto, which were absolutely delicious! The second night, we tried the chef's specials: pumpkin soup and balsamic-glazed chicken breast served with mushroom risotto, along with an incredible pear salad. The service was outstanding, and we even had the chance to speak with the chef, who inquired about our thoughts on his specials. Our answer? Absolutely yes!!!!
The selection of international beers is impressive. The food was delicious! I really enjoyed the pear salad, goulash, and blueberry crepe!
Exceptional vegetarian options! The mushroom risotto was delightful, and the "vegetables in the clay pot" dish was impressive—similar to a French ratatouille but with a warm blend of spices, making it perfect for chilly evenings. The service was attentive and polite, and the overall atmosphere was enjoyable. This restaurant would be an excellent choice for a date or a faculty interview at the college.
