Bidra med feedbackEverything about this place is 100% authentic and delicious! Whenever anybody comes to Boulder to visit and they ask for the best place to go for food while they're here, we ALWAYS suggest Kathmandu II as the first and most important restaurant for them to visit ABOVE ALL ELSE!!!!!Literally just eat here. Just pay the price. It's worth it and WAY better than any White person deserves!!!!
Great lunch buffet! Spiced for white people but eh… I get it.
I'm only giving 2 stars because Katmandu is way over priced! I used to frequent there for the buffet in the pre pandemic days. I've been there a few times after the pandemic. They used to make the naan bread fresh to order and it was crisp, fresh and delicious. Now they premake it for the buffet and it gets soggy. Too expensive for me. The Tandoori Kitchen's buffet in Lafayette is much better priced at $14.95, and is just as large if not larger with more options. They make the naan bread fresh to order without it laying on the buffet getting soft n soggy. There are a few other Indian buffets out there and all priced at $14.95, which seems to be the standard norm these days for Indian buffets. By far, Tandoori Kitchen has the best Indian food in Boulder County, in my opinion. They even freshly grind their own spices that they use in their food.
I was unsure about the chicken Tikka masala since it was more soupier and lighter than what I'm used to but was pleasantly delighted as soon as I took a bite. The food was good and our service was phenomenal. For three meals, it ran us about $40. Not bad at all!
Good and fast buffet with classic Nepalese and Indian dishes.Save room for the Cardamom rice pudding and carrot Halwa (pudding). ?
