Bidra med feedbackFrom the moment we walked in the staff we extremely attentive ensuring our experience was top notch. We both had the risotto with scallops which was cooked to perfection. To top things off they brought over a complementary dessert of Italian donuts and ice cream complete with a candle to celebrate my husband's birthday. I had the chocolate flourless cake which was rich and decadent. The chef also popped over to our table to ensure our evening met our expectations. A lovely evening!
This was our first visit to Tresca. Short version: The food was delicious but service was poor. We were seated in a little nook in front of the waiting area which felt odd as we were the only table with everyone walking around. Our group arrived 5 and 15 minutes late unfortunately and stayed 15 minutes past the 2 hour allotment. The manager/chef kindly notified us of such and we left promptly. The negative was the server, also unfortunate. He never introduced himself, had very little knowledge of the drinks and menu, gave such bogus explanations to questions and we could hardly find him in the 1st hour. There was so much time spent waiting for his return to place our orders that we had to ask the front staff for help. We all thought he seemed overwhelmed and was running a mile a minute. He mentioned that upstairs was busy and he was trying to get the other guests out for a 6pm show. The bus boy came back a few times but smelled of weed. Poor service aside, we still had a good time and food made up for it.
Tresca is by far our favorite restaurant. The staff is excellent and the food is outstanding. Executive Chef Rich Ansara visits each table and to ensure that everyone is happy. He will even make dishes that are off the menu. Great experience every time we go there. I highly recommend.
The Owner was highly attentive and came back twice to wish my daughter a Happy Birthday!
Excellent Italian food ! Great service! The owner even came out to see if we enjoyed it !
