Lucky's Lounge - Boston

They didn’t allow us in at 7:30 pm with the justification that our 4 15 years old nephews could not stay and have a 1 hr dinner .. too bad that this was not specified in the notes when I reserved

Was traveling for work: sat at the bar alone, hoping to meet people or find a friendly face to chat (as I was alone in a new city). Place was moderately busy (with small groups and couples doing there own thing). The food was pretty good (got the sliders with a quail egg and truffle fries). The first bartender was super standoffish (Irish dude). When I asked for recommendation for a drink, he muttered something and advised they don't really do that (not sure what he meant by that). The drink I randomly chose was not good and expensive. I ended up ordering a beer after that. The second bartender made up for the weird experience of the first by being super friendly and talkative (found out he was from Arizona). This would probably be a fun place to go with friends, I was alone traveling and the weirdness of the first bartender made me feel super awkward and very alone haha.

I made a reservation 2 weeks in advance. Showed up early for our table and was told that they didn’t have anything available. We saw 2 booths available and asked to please sit there. They told us those are for parties only. Are you kidding? We were told we could wait on a table at the bar but it was slammed with nowhere to even stand. We said we were going to leave and go somewhere else since they lent honor our reservation and they told us to go for it....

I went here with my girlfriends and let me tell you , the drinks were amazing the food was super delicious and the vibe was super energetic, we are definitely coming back

I booked the tables 2 weeks in advance and we were place on a couch.
