This place is super tasty, cheap, and filling! The atmosphere is cozy because it's a small place so come earlier than rush hour! I got the chicken and Chinese sausage hot pot and stir fried yu- choy. They prepare it more traditionally so it's not heavy on salt and all that other stuff, just enough flavoring to be tasty but not overpowering. 10/10 would recommend!
Small restaurant with big flavors . They make the dumplings in house and they were awesome. The book choy was delicious as well. We got a rice clay pot with bacon and sausages and it was delicious as well.
It's a rare find in Boston for sure. Don't expect much in service and seating, it's a quite small place.Taste: I came across this place when I read about this place possibly being the best clay pot rice in Boston, and to my surprise I think this is one of the top clay pot rice I have tasted. The rice dish is very good, each rice on its own to a degree, the crispy edges are very tasteful and crunchy. This is only acceptable if you are okay with greasy food to a degree, but it's a nice treat once in a while. The other dishes I have were not much of a surprise.Service: barely any, set your expectation.Cost: very cheap for a place in city. Be warn of the service, so tipping will feel like you have been cheated out of you. Also cash only.I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quick cheap meal that's centered around rice.
CASH ONLY! It’s a “hole in the wall” tucked in a corner building kind of restaurant, but it’s good! Come here for a variety of clay pot rice, it’s take awhile to cook, so be patience. While waiting for the rice, definitely order their herbal soup! I ordered the oxtail herbal soup $10) and pork patty with salted fish clay pot rice $10.75) and while waiting, spicy curry fish balls $5). Delicious will come back for sure!
