Bidra med feedbackThe food was good, although clearly under spiced, presumably to allow for French tastes. For me it should have had much more chilli, and more seasoning. The empanadas, were particularly very under seasoned. The service was poor, we were initially told that nothing inside was available, despite me looking directly at a vacant table. We were offered the terrace outside, sat there for a while with nothing happening, and was then offered the inside table we had previously seen was vacant. Sat inside, and then waited nearly 25 mins, given menus, but no drinks at all. saw people arriving after us getting served. Eventually our order was taken, and we got some drinks and thinks were OK from there on.
Food was really underwhelming, restaurant is located in heart of St Pierre, but food offering is most undeserving of the location. Wine is equivalent to paint stripper.
We are expats from California, and this lovely little place on an atmospheric square in old Bordeaux was a wonderful taste of home. Friendly staff, unhurried service, good margaritas. We went back a second night and tried the beef dishes — fajitas and tacos — even better than the tasty chicken options. Clever quesadillas served with a nice salad to start both nights. We dined outside but noted the small but pretty interior for next time.
Went here a few nights ago, were looking forward to a nice meal. We were shown to our table and then not served for over 30minutes!!! Even when I asked waitress to come over. We weren't even asked our drinks order!! It was late and we left noone noticed and went to a restaurant next door and were served in the first 5 mins of sitting down. Such a shame but I cannot recommend this place unless you want to wait hours for food!!! Which didnt look that great!!!
Nice location, otherwise not a good visit. Understaffed on a warm Saturday evening with every table full. We waited (patiently) for everything. The food eventually arrived (before the drinks) and tasted ok but nothing special. A starter of ceviche was the best dish we had. People around us sat with dirty plates for way too long. Lots of having to ask for menus/drinks/fresh orders as the waiting staff just dashed in and out with existing orders. We'd chosen a fixe-pris menu but gave up waiting for the dessert, paid and left. With fewer customers/more staff, might have been ok.
