Bidra med feedbackFirst time here and impressed. Service was excellent and no time was wasted to ask for our drink and appetizer order. Drinks were quick and appetizers were right behind them. I ordered the Fried Oysters Rockefeller and was very curious as to how thiswould be served. Fried oysters sat on a bed of creamed spinach with shaved Parmesan on top. Absolutely delicious. One person inour party is a vegetarian and they had several good options to choose from. One of which I was tempted to order as a carnivore. The duck confit was flavorful, moist and cooked perfect. It was served with a pumpkin risotto which was good. Let me say I?m nota fan of risotto, but I understand the labor involved to make it right and this was cooked perfectly. I will definitely go backand look at one of the grilled meat options. New favorite restaurant in Boone!
Nice upscale restaurant for a town that always manages to find gems like this. Nestled near a mini-golf course and within a multi-sector office complex, Butcher Bar (as the locals call it) is discrete and unassuming on the outside, but modern andnaturalistic at the same time. The menu offers a limited selection of each course yet seemingly always offers something that?hits the spot?. The wine selection offers diverse choices from both Old World and New World varietals, and has a decentcocktail menu. The staff are also very welcoming and friendly. Excellent choice if you are in Boone.
A brilliant option in Boone for uniquely crafted meals in a non-pretentious environment. Best make a reservation, as The Beacon is busy and only serves dinner.
Our second visit here and it was as amazing as the first. Fabulous cocktails dinner menu but the staff ambiance makes it so worth it. Can?t wait to come back.
We chose The Beacon for our daughter's birthday dinner and we were so happy we did! The entrees and appetizer were delicious and locally sourced. The presentation was gorgeous. Our server was very professional and her suggestions were very helpful! If youhave not tried this little hidden gem in the middle of town on HWY 105, please do!
