Oliveto im Hotel Konigshof - Bonn

25 minutes in waiting for finally not getting our drinks! We were here for a team workshop, so the menu was predefined and pre ordered; they had not kept track of our orders, so we lost another 10 minutes reordering 18 meals. unfortunately what I had...ordered was no longer available (we had send the pre orders 1 week before ! ; they were able to offer me leftovers from the day before, but quality OK. The food taste is well below average. The median time to deliver a bottle of wine is 10 minutes. But you need to remind 2/3 times. Out of the 8 bottle of wine that were served, 2 were definitely undrinkable but they were not charged on the bill. Changing the waiters and the kitchen management staff seems long overdue. They are either incompetent, or too thinly staffed for accomodating the restaurant room. And the waiter was a little bit sarcastic when we made remarks about the very slow service. One good thing : the view on the Rhine is wonderful.

We have one night in Bonn, and choosed to have dinner at the Hotel restaurant. Well prepered dishes, they know how to cook with “Pifferlingen” in season. Nice winelist and a perfect view over the Rhine.

Great restaurant with beautiful terrace. the food was excellent, came fast and tasted very good. However, only one operation has been shared for the entire external area, so that it was not very attentive. on hot days it is fantastic on the terrace directly on the Rhine. the higher price is therefore justified.

We had a nice evening with delicious drinks and dives. very friendly and accommodating. the pasta was great. also appetizer and dessert. a meal with a view of the Rhine. there is no more beautiful. thanks to the whole team!

The location of this restaurant with its big decking on the river Rhine is phantastic. The sun umbrellas kept off the light rain so we were able to eat outside on a warm but wet summer's evening. The service is kind and fast. The food was good but not overwhelming. The price was not justified: 2 small balls of buffalo mozarella with a bit of pesto for 16 € or the smallest sea bream fillets with a little bit of veg for 29 € is just too expensive. Shame. Otherwise we would be here more often.
