Mel's Diner - Bonita Springs

I ordered the Key West grilled shrimp with sweet potato and soup, and biscuits always come with it. It was sheer perfection!

I absolutely adore Mels Diner. They serve the most delicious comfort food and the staff are some of the friendliest people in Southwest Florida. It is a true delight to have the option to order from Mels. Thank you for being a beloved establishment in our community. Sending love and blessings to all the owners and employees at Mels. I was disappointed with my meal from Mels Diner for the first time ever. My ribs were overcooked, my French fries were cold, and even my coleslaw was warm. I have been a loyal customer of Mels for years and have always been satisfied with my meals. However, this time, perhaps due to having my food delivered because of a disability, the quality was not up to par. I was very disappointed with my experience this time.

The pork cutlet was not up to par. Usually delicious but this one was a tad too dry.

I was pleasantly surprised when I visited this restaurant. I had visited several years before and was not impressed by the kitchen or decor. It seems that they have done some reconstructions and have dissolved their food game. We came to breakfast and it is now our favorite breakfast place. I ordered the French toast and it was delicious. My oldest daughter ordered the chocolate chip pancakes and really enjoyed them. I would definitely recommend that everyone try the sausage, it saw more like ground beef, but has a good taste. I also want to add that our waitress, Stacy, was really attentive and pleasant. She communicated clearly and checked us to refill our drinks several times. I can't wait until we try more meals again.
