Bidra med feedbackLast night, our dear friends treated us to a meal at a restaurant where we could order a variety of dishes, both raw and cooked. One of my favorites was the popcorn shrimp roll, as anything fried or sweet is always a hit with me. The crispy shrimp rolls were delicious. Another standout dish was the eggplant with a sweet sauce. The spinach salad also had a sweet dressing, which balanced out the meal nicely with the sashimi, kingfish, and tofu. We enjoyed carafes of wine with our dishes, and the bill came out to be reasonable per person including tip. The only downside was the noise in the restaurant when it was full. The music was loud and not very pleasant, making it difficult to have a conversation without yelling. Hopefully, they can address this issue in the future.
As a huge fan of Japanese food, particularly sashimi with Japanese flavors, this restaurant exceeded my expectations! I reside in Bondi and I can't believe I hadn't tried this place sooner. We also ordered the wagyu beef on hot rocks, which was delicious, although the rocks cooled down quickly causing the meat to not cook all the way through. The staff was polite and attentive.
I love to go to soy, as it is easy to book a table, a variety of dishes to choose from and the food is always good. The portions are massive and love absolutely the chicken Teriyaki.
The worst service I have experienced for a long time. We were completely ignored all the time we were here, and were not even water. It is a continuous struggle that tries to draw attention to the waiters' attention. In addition, the food service is also incredibly slow. We probably have been waiting for half an hour until our first court arrived. Will not be returned and would not recommend. The soy sauce was extremely salty and ruined the sushi roles.
Tasty Japanese in a great job. Here are on a hot evening night overlooking the water. Quality Wagyu. Delicious recessed tuna. Portion sizes in my opinion generous. Delicious dinner and smiling service.
