Goa Balti Spice - Bolton

We ordered four delicious hot curries from Goa Balti Spice in December for an early New Year's Eve dinner. However, our two curries were delivered cold. We tried to warm them up, but the onion bhajis and naan had to be thrown away. We were so disappointed and won't take the risk of ordering from there again.

After waiting nearly 2 hours, our food arrived cold and incomplete. The service was shocking and we left hungry and extremely frustrated. Order at your own risk!

While driving the 575 route, I stopped outside Goa Balti and witnessed the chef inside picking his nose with his bare hands. He then wiped his nose with the back of his hands and his red T-shirt before continuing his activities without washing his hands.

I was a regular customer of this place for almost 20yrs and generally found it very good, but the last meals we've had from there have been decidedly awful. A few hours after one visit and I had my head down the crapper, hawking back up a House Special Biriani. I wasn't too sure if that was the actual cause of my illness, so a week or so later, we ordered the same dish and I was ill again...exactly the same. The only time you'd get me too go here again is if I needed to lose rapid weight or there was a gun held to my head.

Got a takeaway from here a few days ago, don’t normally bother writing review but it literally tasted rancid like something in it had gone off, the chicken was also really dry and chewy not just like over cooked but like it had been left out too long or something, threw it all in the bin. Used to be good but steer clear now unless you want to get ill!
