Bidra med feedbackIt's a shame that the quality has declined. I used to visit this restaurant regularly because the food was always top-notch. The owner, Clay Richard, was always friendly and helpful, taking the time to make sure we were happy with our meals. I would often stop by for tea, sausage rolls, or cake. It's disappointing that the experience has changed.
Great quality food and service at this restaurant. The owner is always attentive and takes care of his customers, making sure they have everything they need. I visit here often for tea, sausage rolls, or cakes and always leave very happy. The staff are friendly and helpful, which is why I frequent this place regularly.
High quality food, extremely friendly and helpful staff, we are regular customers and always enjoy our visits.
Visited here Tuesday for a quick drink between plans. Very friendly staff, very informative. Menu has a lot of choice and there is something for everyone. Can’t wait to go back and try the food/cakes.
My friends and I had been to the local pony trekking centre and just completed a 2 hour hack and we were famished. Stumbled across The Lemon Tree as the nearest cafe and oh boy am I glad we did. Nice selection of sweet and savoury treats on offer. Two of us went for the cheese red onion chutney panini (drool) and my other friend went for the ham cob (her term not mine). The weather was biblical but the cafe has some really nice little wooden shelters you can hide in whilst the weather does it’s worst. The paninis were sooo good. Melted cheese with delicious red onion chutney, all crunchy on the outside and gooey on the inside (yes, just like an armadillo). It came with ‘posh’ crisps, small salad and some lovely coleslaw (and I’m not a huge fan of coleslaw). The ham ‘cob’ looked fab and the speed at which it disappeared can only mean it tasted as good as it looked. The little cafe doesn’t look much from the outside, but trust me, it’s a little gem you won’t be disappointed
