Bidra med feedbackMore the decent Basque food. Of course, in bilbao everything would taste better, but this is the other corner of the world and the raw ingredients are not the same, they do a great work. the entrecôte was very, very good, well filled paprika, great croquetas and enough wine selection. Non-pretentious eating, which is worth real in the quality of the ingredients and only the right preparation. a true jewel in the core of boise.
Absolutely delicious! Everyone in my group loved what they ordered (lamb, filet, NY strip) so good! The cocktails were wonderful! The staff was friendly! The dessert was decadent! Definitely recommend
The Leku Ona is an amazing authentic Basque restaurant in downtown Boise. Highly recommend trying their prime rib and wonderful soups, salads and desserts. You won?t be disappointed.
We have been regulars at Leku Ona since they opened, however we NEVER make it for dinner anymore, typically we are late lunchers on weekends. Great atmosphere, fantastic food and cocktails, and nice/welcoming servers. The wife and I aren't Basque but we are always treated as well as any of the other old-timers. I suggest getting as many of the appetizers as possible and the bean dish. It is hard to describe how good something as simple as a fried potato can be when made with the right attention to detail and care. We always get the patatas bravas, chorizo, stuffed peppers... The lamb entrees are always on point. We need to make it back for dinner soon.
Some friends said this about their experience last night: Dinner was so good! I love that place. We had croquetas and stuffed piquillos for apps then I had salmon and asparagus (fantastic)? One of us had trout (she loved it) and others had the Leku Ona salad with salmon on top. We had burnt cheesecake and rice pudding for dessert. Everything was just lovely.
