Bidra med feedbackThis place was filthy! I wondered why it wasn't busy at lunch time. Others are. These 2 girls are asleep. They forgot, they said , to turn on the machine for shakes. Bad business and bad for future business.
I ordered some boxed lunches (which is clearly on my receipt) to be delivered for catering the night prior to delivery. When my order was delivered, the door dash delivery person sent me a picture of the delivery. Everything (sandwiches, cookies, and chips were thrown into 2 plastic bags and thrown on someone 's porch. When I called back the restaurant to complain about this, they made up every excuse they would think of to not accept responsibility for their actions. none of us that are here today were here this morning. We don 't have any order today for catering. We don 't deliver. Door dash does our delivery. I wrote an email to corporate,, but of course no reply. This order was for someone who just lost his wife. So to just throw it on their porch was completely unacceptabLE. I don 't even know if it was delivered to the correct house. Any animal could have gotten it. The picture from the delivery person showing the delivery, clearly showed that none of the items I ordered were in a box.
Yesterday, 12/20/2023 was yet another day I came by at 7:50 PM and saw the last employee locking up the business, even though it was supposed to be open until 8pm. Reading other reviews, I see that I am not alone with this frustrating experience, nor was this my first time finding it closed early!! Also, this particular location feels grungy. There are always dirty tables, and usually dirty floors/area by the soda machine. It seems as if the recent staff doesn’t care. (it was better three years ago or so)Also, why on earth is the hallway to the bathrooms filled with half the restaurants chairs??! I would imagine a disabled person having difficulty navigating a narrow hallway . On the bright side, the sandwiches are usually pretty good, although only the bare minimum of fillings are put on the subs, but the cheese curds absolutely rock! Way better than Culver’s, hands-down! It’s nice to have the marinara sauce warmed.Bottom line, Cousins is still the tastiest sub place around but I like the Hales corners location better. Unfortunately that’s a 30 minute drive away so I put up with this one because at least we have one in town. I just wish the management would fix these problems instead of just responding “contact us” when they read the review. Just hire or retrain employees to at least have a welcoming attitude towards customers, not lock up early, and wipe down tables. I don’t feel comfortable contacting management since I feel it doesn’t do any good
3 hours until closing time and it's closed with 3 employees standing in view. Food is ok when you can find them open.
This order should receive 0 stars. Our family ordered $88.00+ worth of subs on 08/19/2023, 5 15 subs. A Special, a Chicken Cheesesteak, a Philly Cheesesteak, a Chicken Bacon Cheddar, and a Chicken Cheese Philly. The order was placed at 5:12pm with a pick up time of 6:30pm. Upon early arrival at 6:20pm, all the subs were made and wrapped sitting under a heat lamp. Giving the sandwich makers the benefit of the doubt, took the subs home (approximately 10 miles from the store to home) to find the subs had lettuce that was slimy, and wilted due to being made before the scheduled time and sitting under the heat lamp. Proceeded to call the Cousins location at South Pine St in Burlington at 6:55pm, and the phone rang and rang for maybe 20 30 rings until a female employee finally answered. I explained to her about our order, and asked how long the order was made prior to an actual early pick up time. She advised the cold sub (Special) was being wrapped right before our arrival at 6:20pm (again, pick up was supposed to be 6:30pm). First of all, why were the hot subs completed before the cold sub, and just sitting there? And second, why was the order completed and wrapped before the 6:30pm pick up? The female employee advised she could take my name and number, and give it to their General Manager, Nick on Monday. Extremely disappointed, and frustrated with $88.00 worth of gross subs!!! And... even though the hours of operation were supposed to be until 7pm, the Open sign was already turned off at 6:20pm. Totally understand about wanting to finish your work after a possibly long day, but Pine St Cousins.. so much for customer service. 9pm on 08 22 2023.... no call from General Manager Nick, not surprised. We will not be back, and plan on telling everyone we know not to patronize this location.
