Hog's Breath Cafe - Bohle Plains

Despite being very busy, we were seated within minutes of arriving. Our drink order was taken promptly, and once we knew what we wanted to eat, our order was taken at the same time. The steak and shrimp in garlic sauce, fish with salt and pepper, which are our favorite dishes at this restaurant, were cooked and served to perfection. I definitely recommend this place and will be returning. The parking is easy and the atmosphere is great.

Yesterday, on 12/20/20, I dined at the Cannon Park restaurant with a small group. It was by far the worst dining experience I have ever had. We started off with flat cokes that were replaced multiple times with no improvement. Our water took three attempts to be brought to the table. I ordered the surf and turf salad for $19.95, which was a letdown with overcooked, flavorless meat, 2 prawns, 3 calamari rings, and some salad. Other dishes at the table received similar criticism. This was a disappointing experience, especially considering our previous visits had been without issue. I felt compelled to write this review due to the shortcomings of the meal. All diners were locals and felt let down by the food quality.

I give this restaurant 5 stars for the service. Nina is one of the best waitresses I have had in a long time. She was attentive and engaged in short conversations with us to ensure our meals met our expectations. She made sure our food, desserts, and drinks were served promptly, even on a busy night. Nina explained that there may be some longer wait times due to the busyness, but she continued to provide excellent service throughout our meal.

Stuffed potato skins 4 pc) entree were very nice. Best steak! Great curly fries. Salad was ok.
