Over There Cafe - Blue Summit

I heard that they recently started serving some hot food items. I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. I had the Reuben sandwich and the Trench stew. Both were excellent. My wife had the turkey club which she enjoyed as well, a generous portion. The staff was very friendly.

The prepackaged food here is no better than what you find in an airport or your local Walgreens or CVS. Any previous information that showed them actually having a menu of hot items or soup is inaccurate. And a place that you can spend all day at and they really need to up the food offering because this is disgrace

Maybe I'm missing something but this is nothing special at all its no better then gas station cooler food. No menu no cooked food? Cold sandwiches and wraps pre made in a cooler. When I think of a Cafe this isn't it. Very disappointing ?

The service was good and helpful, but I thought the food was below average. I would recommend eating somewhere else.

It is just not good, but it is the only game in “town”. We have been twice because we were visiting the museum and needed to eat.Next time I’ll put a lunch in the car! The food is prepackaged, processed, shipped in, whatever, and it tastes like it. Both times the staff (as opposed to the actual staff in the museum area who are great) has been unwelcoming, unhelpful, get the impression they just really don’t want to be there and wish you weren’t either. So, if you get stuck in the museum and just have to eat, go in, pull your unappetizing selection from the refrigerator, pay for it, and, if possible, eat it. At least eat enough to hold you together until you can get out and go to one of the fabulous restaurants in KC! After the museum being so great and well run this place was a shocker both times.
