Bidra med feedbackThe entrance here is a little hard to turn left into, or drive across W Old Shakopee to get to it. So, be careful. It is connected to the parking lot of the MGM mini-mall, so I turned turned right into W Old Shakopee, went down the way, then Iturned left into that parking lot much more easily. And again the left turn onto W Old Shakopee via the exit from Dairy Queenis even worse. I 'd say take a left into the parking lot and drive through that to take a right onto France Ave South with thelight at W Old Shakopee. The interior is clean and has good seating. The customer service was busy, but friendly. I went at730pm. So, I decided to skip the drive through. Customers at most quick stop places like this, have a hard time getting theirpaper towels into the garbage can, so it was piling up, but otherwise clean. Environments look so different between day andnight. I tried to get a night shot of the front, but I guess I didn 't
This DQ is a bit lacking. No gravy dipping sauce available for our chicken strip basket. Dr. Pepper was out with no signage to indicate the fact. Toast was burnt. Fries were cold. It took 25 minutes to get our food. Only one bathroom available forcustomers to use. The chicken was hot though. So, thankful for that.
I waited 30 minutes in line with only 2 cars ahead of me at this restaurant. The reason for the long wait is because they consistently only have 1 person working. The employee is working hard to keep up, but it's challenging with only one person. As a result, the place is often messy and there is no time to clean up properly. Last week, I went inside and saw that it was a mess behind the counter, with blizzard ingredients getting mixed together. I believe in giving second chances, but I will be looking for another place to eat from now on. If you don't mind waiting and potential cross contamination, you can try this Dairy Queen, but I would suggest looking for another one with better service.
I stopped by to grab a couple of desserts at 7:30 in the evening on August 20th, 2022, but the drive-thru was backed up. I decided to go inside to order instead. Unfortunately, I waited for ten minutes without even being acknowledged by the staff. They seemed to only be assisting customers in the drive-thru and ignored me completely. I ended up leaving and getting our ice cream treats at the McDonald's located across the intersection. If the restaurant is only going to prioritize the drive-thru customers, perhaps they should consider locking their doors to avoid confusion.
My visit to this restaurant on 9/16/22 near closing time was highly unsatisfactory. I was very disappointed with the service. There were several displeasing aspects: The drive-thru wait time was incredibly long, at a minimum of 30 minutes. Frustrated, I decided to leave the drive-thru, park my car, and head to the lobby to place my order. Unfortunately, the food I received was cold, including the toast, and I observed the cook entering and exiting the kitchen multiple times. When he returned to the grill area, he did not wash his hands before beginning to prepare the food. Only after noticing that I was watching did he decide to put on gloves. Additionally, the soda I ordered had a bland taste. Overall, my experience was terrible due to the bad service and lack of properly trained staff with a good understanding of food preparation and sanitation. It was clear that care and attention to these important aspects were lacking in this establishment.
