Wiesenhof Makro - Bloemfontein

Friendly staff. Excellent service. Delicious food. Highly recommended.

We absolutely coming to Wiesenhof for a quick lunch whenever we visit Makro for some shopping. The caramel bar one hot chocolate is amazing, and their milkshakes are incredible. We always love their tramezzini 's. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming.

So dissapointed in Wiesenhof. Their standard has decreased tremendously. Today we couldn 't have a cuppacino or rooibos tea due to their coffee machine being broken, and not having a kettle in the kitchen to make the tea? Their prices have gone up so much. R20 for a portion of poor quality chips. R28 for a sad french toast slice with barely any egg mixture. I will not go back to Wiesenhof Makro.

The food tastes like the handiwork of a chef who is still passionate about what he does and works with a loving family. Even some nice originality in some of the menu item ideas. The coffee is some of the best I've tested in Bloem (well balanced, fresh, depth of flavours). The service is of a sufficient standard and very friendly. The environment is relaxed and quiet. All this at a very reasonable price. Well done!
