Batter And Crumb - Bldg Fort Wainwright

If you are looking for a desert on the go or to have a specialty cake made this is the place. I was in need of a birthday cake and did not want to make it myself or go to the box stores. No shade on the box stores, but I wanted something special and Batter and Crumb came to my rescue. As a guy I procrastinated and needed a birthday cake in a hurry. I had heard about Batter and Crumb from a friend and decided to just drive over there and ask if they could make something special and quickly (24 hours). I was open to try anything and they made a Blood Orange cake that was unique and delicious. Give them a try, they are local, they are new, and they are good.

Sooo good. The breakfast puffs were awesome and the lemon tart was really crispy and tasty. I will most definitely come back again. I was torn about leaving a review because I love places like this that have such good coffee and small batch deliciousness. But why deprive anyone else.

Lots of good stuff comes out of this little White House. Prices are reasonable. Everything is fresh and made onsite. Wide variety of coffee drinks and food.

I saw this place from the window of the donut shop. So happy that I grabbed breakfast from batter and crumb. The puff pastry on my light bite egg tartlet was amazing. Sorry we were just passing thru town or I would be a regular here...

Right off Airport and Cushman is this little cart with huge flavor. The woman who helped me was friendly. The prices were very reasonable for the OMG Melt in your mouth puff pastry with fresh spinach and cheese amazing flavor I just experienced. The Bundt was equally amazing and the ingredients definitely taste fresh. This is definitely worth the trip and price.
