Turmeric Hut - BLD Oceanside

Turmeric hut is our favorite local date night spot!! The staff is so kind and their menu has a vast selection of vegetarian/vegan/non-vegetarian options and images to show what it is that you're ordering! My husband and I have very different levels of spice tolerance, so we love that this establishment lets you choose your spice preference. Highly recommend!

The small but amazing place for good Indian food. I read the reviews and thought of giving a try. I ordered Lamb Biryani. The quantity was great, the taste was really good too. I was hoping to see lamb with bones but I didnt any. The masala was very well mixed with rice and that was a good surprise :)There is ample parking as it is located in a shopping complex. The place is quite small so best bet is to order for to go.

Have been here before and definitely coming back. The gentelman Syed directed me thru plenty of dishes that are vegan friendly. I will continue to come back here because the food is amazing and they never hesitate to answer any questions and are always more than happy to help.

They have plenty of parking in the lot for the plaza and they are even accessible using public transportation using the 309 bus.You will easily recognize their storefront with the bright , bold and detailed photograph posters of their famous dishes which are showcased all over their entrance.Upon entering, you'll be immersed within the authentic Indian decor, artwork and memorabilia; even the interior motif colors are that of the turmeric vegetable.There's a lot of thought, care and love that went into it.Their seating is suitable for couples and even small groups, but may feel too cramped for kids who want to run around.Turmeric Hut has an interesting innovative POS system that allows for customers to order their food from the counter in-person or from an easy-to-use digital tablet with a tap of their online menu. This system also allows customers to order ahead of time online for pickup or even place an order for delivery.Their menu consists of many favorites such as:mango chicken curry, chicken korma, butter chicken, chicken vindaloo, paneer tikka masala, yellow daal, zucchini masala, channa masala, tandoori shrimp, samosas, a plethora of vegetarian options, their famous chicken tikka masala and many many more.I also love that Turmeric Hut is a small business that is family-owned serving the community with love. I highly recommend this original Indian OG restaurant.Vegetarian options: Vegetarians can find a lot to eat here and many dishes can even be customized to be made vegetarian as well.Parking: There's plenty of parking in the plaza lot.

I love coming here, it’s welcoming and one of the guys that was serving us is funny and treated us so great, and the food absolutely delicious!!!Parking: there is plenty selection of parking space shares a lot with other businesses and still able to find parking no problem
