Town Seafood - Blackstone

Was in town with no car so walked a mile to it in a storm. Ordered fish box which came with fries, 3 hush puppies and 4 pieces of whiting. Also got an order of steamed jumbo shrimp (9! . With tip it was less than $20. And the food was great. The place is basic, chairs but no tables so I pulled a chair over to make a table. It was a feast and I have two fillets left for breakfast!

I was in the area and was looking for a good spot to eat. Found this place online, I was excited because I love seafood. First off, I waited about 6 to 7 minutes before she could get to me. She’s a one woman show. She was the cashier and the cook. Extremely slow service. When she was finally able to take my order, she was flustered and curt with me. I left and never to return.

I have been purchasing food from Mrs. Hong for years she and both her sons David James are beautiful down to earth people that make clean fresh food each time you order.

Good amount of food for the price. Not local for me but I intend to revisit, hopefully!
