Ho's Palace - Blackheath

Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the food, but we were all pleasantly surprised! I would rate the cuisine as good as, if not better than, many large Chinese restaurants. We sampled familiar dishes, but the chef prepared them in such unique and delicious ways that I had never experienced before. As for the owner, Samuel, he's possibly the most memorable host I've encountered in a restaurant. He seemed genuinely delighted that we were eager to chat, and it made for a fun atmosphere filled with laughter. He’s a wonderful man who runs a small business with his wife and has faced challenges during the Covid pandemic. I highly recommend dining at Ho’s Palace for anyone passing through this town. It’s a warm and enjoyable experience, complete with great food and lots of laughter! If you read this, Samuel, we’ll miss you! We were still smiling and laughing the next day after our visit. Delicious Chinese cuisine! The decor made us feel as though we were dining right in Asia. The owner was incredibly friendly and attentive. The portion sizes of the meals were quite generous. Usually, after a Chinese meal, you might feel thirsty due to additives, but we didn't experience that at all here. I would definitely recommend and support this local restaurant!

Samuel and his wife are the owners of this delightful gem in Blackheath. We will definitely return for the delicious food (with generous portion sizes) and outstanding customer service. I highly recommend trying Ho’s Palace to see why they have been in business for 30 years.

This restaurant has the most splendid delicious food ever. The flavor of the food and hospitality is fantastic. I give them five stars.

Dined in last Weds night, our first night in Blackheath. Upon entering you are in awe of the ornately decorated interior. The owners waited on, cooked for and served us. So, so, so friendly and served such authentic and delicious food.We chose a $33.90 p/p banquet for 4 and were extremely impressed with soup, entrees, mains and rice. We had Chinese beers as well. As Sydney city dwellers, we found this food the tastiest, traditional chinese food. Beat all expectations of a small town Chinese restaurant. No wonder they have been serving tourists and locals for over 35 years. Please support this local business during what has been a most difficult year. PS. Simply cannot believe previous negative comments!!!!!!
