Fireside Kitchen - Black Hawk

I have been worried to try this place, but it was thanksgiving and most places close were closed so my family and I decided to stop lunch. we were served super fast and our food was at the table within 20 minutes. the fish-N-chips were super delicious, the teig was not too thick and it has a nice crunchy to him plus the spicy sauce on the side just made it better! the burger and steak were also quite tasty, and their turkey plate was a brilliant thanksgiving consumption

Five stars! the mushroom flat cake is one of the best things I've ever eaten and the most important courses also not disappointed. I would highly recommend to eat in this restaurant while they?re in the city or go in just for the flat brot, it?s so good!

I should have read the reviews before I get here. Oh, my fault. I have a burger, they asked me how I wanted to cook it, so I said medium. is there a level over well done? dead? skoriert? black? I did. I would have told the server how it was, but she never asked me. between the and the $9 beer they couldn't even fill up, it's safe to say that I don't return. my wife also has a $12 mimosa in a tiny weinglas, so there is.

When we're here. we sat, but we didn't really talk. she just went to our table, but never said right or follow me. then I asked for a straw with my apple juice. and waited and waited for one. not much. then our food comes out, looks decent, but the taste was another story. no cutlery to eat our food so we had to sit and wait again. my fiancée got the breakfast burrito, tasted evil and possibly as it was served with salsa verde against the green chili they had mentioned in the menu. I have the omelette, they were from paprika that was not a big thing. my omelette had no taste and my kartoffels neither. our waitress was kind enough when she came to the table. that was not very often. I will not return to this resturaunt. a little taste goes a long way and clear, this place does not know what taste is.

Was there today just after 11am. I would love to share about our experience with Management about your server Kristen. Literally the worst dining experience we've ever had. If she hates waiting tables so much she should find another line of work. We still left a nice tip because she is probably going to need the money. Food was excellent btw.
