The Royal Mail - BIRREGURRA

The royal post hotel looks very good with its art deco facade, but unfortunately I did not have much of an idea of its interior or eating it served. according to its website it is open on Wednesday for lunch in noon. Today is Wednesday and we went there to eat at noon. it wasn't open.

A lunch for five people and the restaurant has a modern clean feeling with glass and wood, it looks good. Sitting is comfortable and spacious. our waiter was very friendly and we could laugh a bit in the evening. the menu is something on the expensive side and the portions are not generous for a country spot, but all appetizers and nets were enjoyed without complaining. my pumpkin gnocchi was great! update, again to dinner and the dining room was closed on a Thursday evening, so we sat on a table in the bar where it was very busy and loud, but at least it was warm. there was only one employee in the service and he did a great task, all...read more

Terrible. we went there last night. it took 2 hours for some of us to get our food. the rest had to wait for 2.5 hours. the waiting staff was very grim and seemed constantly angry. we ordered fish. When it arrived, it was an absolutely tiny piece of fish. it was very expensive at $38 for a minute overcooked piece fish. I will never go there again

Great pub with an entertaining atmosphere when the local foot is in the city. had the calamari, steak and utter and everything was top notch. also on the tap.

We had dinner and it absolutely lovely. Excellent friendly, fast service. Modern decor in Deco Style Pub. Large tables so plenty of space for those with wide elbows! I had the kangaroo which was beautifully and tender. Would highly recommend it.
