Coachhouse - Birr

We were at the Coachouse Bar yesterday evening for drinks and dinner. Although the place was very busy we didn’t have to wait too long. Service was quick and very friendly. Sirloin steak and Burger were good.

Food lukewarm. chips overcooked. Vol au vents soggy. no wine list. This is a hotel? draught every time door opened. Wine reasonable.

Mary's veg curry was the finest but my lamb roast was very fatty and the plain veg felt reheated. apple pie and custard made up for it though.

Good food. Very reasonable price. The portions were generous. Great friendly service. Highly recommended.

As always the food is excellent and the staff are professional and very accommodating. The portions are always a good size and the service is prompt.
