Great place for meeting friends and family. Friendly atmosphere. Fun quiz night on a Wednesday followed by stand up bingo, good night out! The staff are friendly and welcoming. Didn't eat this time, but did eat there on Christmas day and have to say it exceeded my expectations. Would recommend this pub food or just drinks.

Came up for some food, sirloin steak was perfect, my wife's hunters chicken was nice as well. Elvis Presley tribute started and it was brilliant, new manager doing well.

Lovely pub to meet up with friends after work and on a weekend. Nice atmosphere and friendly feeling.

This pub recently has greatly improved food wise due to new management and I can only assume cook .. the food on the two occasions over last few weeks one being a Sunday roast (just like you mom would cook was freshly done with fresh veg and potatoes and the added bonus of it being piping hot .. the second time the same piping hot Food no long wait all delivered with friendly staff .. I’ve not been in the pub for a few years due to the food but will definitely be a regular now x

Continues to be a let down. [Good Friday] one bar staff in her 70s manning the bar lounge. Waiting patiently for ages to be served, in the end I left, ridiculous. Speaking from experience the food is disgusting no pride in what comes out of the kitchen. Last chance saloon, they have blown it. It used to be the pride of Kingstanding its a dive now, [my local] Faulty towers without the laughs 100% guaranteed disappointment. The manager is normally nowhere to be seen. The male chef a complete joke, cannot cook scampi, uncooked inside mushy outside. [Steak] grey not medium rare it's a lottery everytime you order food. He doesn't seem to know you do not serve discolored salad, [brown oxidation] nasty. Everything about this pub is wrong from service to the food preparation. The female chef to be far knows what she is doing, however the male chef seems to be there more often than not, shame really. I will be drinking eating somewhere else from now on, catch a taxi back home so much for my local, be warned
