Bidra med feedbackThe food didn't match the high prices. I had a steak that I enjoyed, but my partner's risotto was only passable; it lacked the creamy texture that a good risotto should have. If the prices were a third of what we paid, I wouldn’t have any complaints. However, they charged rates you'd expect at places like Helen, Cafe du Pont, or Hot and Hot, but the food quality reminded me more of Chili’s.
The restaurant is located downtown with large windows and near the entrance, which makes it quite warm inside. The air conditioning is not functioning properly, and there are also gnats present. I won't be dining there during the summer months, as I prefer not to eat hot food when it's warm outside.
We encountered several issues during our visit. There were only two staff members working, and neither acknowledged our reservation. It often required multiple attempts to get the attention of a server. The coffee mugs on our table were dirty, and there were leftover wine glasses from the previous night. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.
Unfortunately, we did not eat there. We arrived at 9:25 for our 9:30 reservation to find a long line of people with similar reservation times waiting to be seated with no hostess in site, no wait staff checking and one who actually laughed at us when she asked if we were all waiting for breakfast. We left, headed to the grocery store and fixed Mother’s Day brunch at home. Not sure what was going on at this Hilton Curio hotel with no one at the front desk either.
Bathrooms were really smelly. Flies were everywhere around my table. Service was OK. As was food. Glassware was smudgy. Hair in my foodI was just expecting a bit of a higher quality
