Bidra med feedbackTasty Yum Char, it has all the usual offerings brought round at a good pace. Duck was a little disappointing as they had microwaved it to warm it up, consequently the skin was not crispy, however all the steamed dumplings we tried were delicious. It is well priced averaging $20 a head for a large amount of dim sum.
Went here for the second time, today and enjoyed the meal. I liked everything we picked out pork belly, siomao, siopao, prawn and pork dumplings and coconut bun) very affordable as well. Such a shame though that they sold out? On Durian ice and puff on that day. I really wanted to order those. Overall, food's good but it's really hard to ask the waitresses for anything i.e. water and soy sauce) I'm not a regular and this is my first yum cha restaurant to ever try so I don't know if we were supposed to help ourselves with what we want. Communication can also be a problem as they do not speak much English, maybe just enough to understand specific words? Our bill was around $45 for 3 people, so am very happy with that. Will try to take some photos next time.
One of the best Yum Cha place that I have tasted. The price is extremely affordable and portions are huge. The food are so tasty, will definitely satisfy your yum cha cravings! However, it will be difficult for people who are unfamiliar with yum cha food to choose what to order as some of the staff cannot understand and speak English (hard to describe what the food is e.g. siumai, tripe, different types of dumplings etc).
Visited New Canton for the first time today to sate my yum cha cravings and very happy to say that they were! Typical Chinese restaurant setting with nothing elaborate but great service and food with a nice selection to satisfy even the most picky of eaters. Price list is also on the lower side : will definitely return for more yum cha adventures such a gem of a place.
