Bidra med feedbackWe thoroughly enjoyed the traditional atmosphere of the pub and the welcoming staff. We decided to try the barramundi and it turned out to be one of the best barramundi dishes we have ever had. While the meal was on the pricier side, the portion size was generous. I initially ordered a salad with rice, but had to settle for chips as the rice was unavailable. Nevertheless, the chips were delicious and crispy, while the salad was a decent size, though it could have used more actual slices of tomatoes instead of just tomato skins. This minor issue was the only reason for giving a 4-star rating instead of 5, but overall the fish dish was excellent.
The barramundi was one of the best dishes we have ever had. It was on par with the seafood at Whalebone Seafood Restaurant in Port Macquarie. The service was also excellent, with all the staff members being very attentive despite being busy. We would definitely be happy to dine here again.
Nice eating, but I was spoken very rudely. the barmann (clothed in strings, singlet and shorts) was one of the most rude people I met. he should not work in any industry that involves contact with people.
By accident for a cold beer during a day tour. unfortunately the kitchen had closed for the day, but the kerl in the bar led us over the road to take. large food from hot chips, potato scallops and sauce sitting. on the pubs balcony with a few beer. super.
So glad we drove down to the Billinudgel Pub from the Gold Coast (now the borders have opened up) for lunch. I ordered the grilled barramundi salad and chips (from the specials board) and my husband ordered the steak burger and chips. The meals were...so delicious. The pub was pretty busy being a Saturday but we didn’t have to wait too long for our meals. Thanks! We will be back!
