Edo Japan Tonquin Building Grill And Sushi

I parked outside tonight at 8:50 and asked if they could fry a few gyozas. They said sorry, they were closed, even though the lights were on. Usually, when I order gyozas, it only takes about 5 minutes or less. I found their customer service to be really disappointing.

Fantastic! This place is quickly becoming my favorite fast food option in Hinton. They serve the absolute BEST chicken ramen soup!!! It's incredibly delicious! I highly recommend Edo Japan! They offer great food at reasonable prices, and their customer service is outstanding as well!!!

We stopped in on Monday, September 4th, on our way home from Jasper. I decided to try sushi rolls for the first time. Unfortunately, the woman at the front was quite rude; when I asked about the veggie sushi rolls, she simply said they contained veggies without elaborating. I had to pry for more details. Meanwhile, the cook in the back promptly began preparing meals for my daughter and granddaughter. The front staff member then started filling up multiple small containers unrelated to our order, while we waited a good ten minutes. During that time, several customers who arrived after us were already being served and enjoying their meals. Eventually, she dropped our cooked food on the counter and began making our sushi rolls. When we left, I said thank you and goodbye, but she turned away without responding. I've always had friendly service at Edo’s in Edmonton, so this experience was disappointing. This staff member really needs to improve her customer service and be more welcoming.

Opened since March 2019, as the gentleman at the counter informed me, Edo Japan is a place I truly love. Wherever you go, you can always count on quality food. I particularly enjoy the bento box, which allows you to choose from options like Sukiyaki, Teriyaki, and many other main dishes. Additionally, you get to select two side dishes, and I always opt for sushi. Delicious! I am a very satisfied long-term customer.

We stopped by while driving from Edmonton to Jasper and were warmly welcomed by the owner/manager. We ordered the chicken teriyaki rice meal, which was fresh and delicious. The owner/manager also generously offered us a complimentary tasting of the vegetable noodles. We would love to return!
