A fantastic night out. We went in the hope that we could get a table and we got lucky. There was a set menu and it was excellent value. Garlic Prawns for me, veal in cream wine and mushroom sauce and the tastiest tiramisu ever. Everything perfectly cook. My wife had a steak, and apple pie for afters. All perfectly cooked and very tasty. There was a very good singing duo but the star of the show was Elizabeth who worked tirelessly to ensure everyone was happy. A very charming lady. They even have an evening with Michael Buble coming up. The best meal we ever had in the London area. All the staff were exceptionally helpful.
Had the best time last night celebrating my boyfriends birthday. The food and service were top class, the singer was fantastic. Thank you so much for making a memorable evening Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Located in the center of Welling, this posh restaurant offers a warm welcome upon arrival and attentive service throughout the meal. Open on Sundays, I visited on Mother's Day and enjoyed a self-service Sunday roast selection including beef, lamb shank, turkey, or a vegetarian option. The waitresses and manager were friendly, and the atmosphere was bustling yet pleasant. While the lamb shank was delicious and tender, I would have preferred it to be slightly more browned on the inside. Despite this minor detail, the overall meal was excellent, and the dessert was truly delightful.
The vegetarian options at this restaurant were terrible. We ordered new potatoes, salad, avocados, hummus, and broccoli and were very disappointed when we received only 7 slightly oversized marble potatoes for two people. I even mentioned that I was pregnant, but it did not make a difference. This ended up being our only meal of the day, and we left feeling like we had been robbed and still hungry after paying £70. The hummus was made with tap water instead of olive oil, with no garlic, salt, or tahini added, resulting in a watery and tasteless dish.
