Review of The Railway Tavern in Bexley Village: My partner and I visited this pub for the first time on a Sunday evening in March 2022 after hearing they had karaoke. When we arrived around 7:30 pm, it wasn't very busy, so we grabbed high chairs at the bar. DJ Duncan was already set up on a stage in the corner, hosting a regular Sunday evening session until 11 pm. The pub is bright and beautifully decorated, located discreetly around the corner from Bexley train station and convenient for buses including the 229. By 8:30 pm, the pub started to fill up, and by 9 pm, it was packed, mostly with people in their late 20s, as well as a few older folks and a couple of eccentric characters. The staff were busy but efficient, and the music and singers were great. The drinks were reasonably priced, with a single Bacardi, a bottle of Coke, and a pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord costing £10. Overall, it was a fantastic night out and I would highly recommend it.
Nice and friendly, popped in for a quick drink after a walk it's close to the London Loop, very handy
Good friendly pub, nice staff. Good selection of beers drinks. Not too expensive.
We had a wonderful evening at the restaurant with the Shambolicks band performing. The staff were very friendly. However, it was a bit crowded as there may have been too many people let in on the night.
