While Capriotti's Sandwich Shop won’t take business directly from Bay Cities, it will likely draw customers away from Subway, Togo's, and Quiznos. Capriotti's has a similar vibe to those popular chain sandwich shops, but with a cooler atmosphere—perhaps it’s the brick walls or the friendly staff. It reminded me of Rubicon Deli in San Diego. Capriotti's offers fast service, and the prices are comparable to the other chains. I appreciate that they provide sandwiches in three sizes: a small, which could probably feed a 95-pound actress or model scampering around LA, a medium, which is akin to a footlong, and I didn’t notice the large. It honestly didn’t seem necessary, but if I were in a different mindset, I could see the appeal of that size. As a sober guy, I found the medium size to be quite generous. Capriottis is known for its turkey sandwiches, and The Bobbie certainly lives up to that reputation. It features turkey, cranberry, and various toppings. It may sound unusual, but it comes together perfectly. I've tried several other sandwiches as well, and I've been happy with almost everything. The prices are quite reasonable too. I recommend placing your order by phone for pickup to save time; otherwise, you might have to wait.
