Bidra med feedbackGreat place to wind up before the trip back to sydney. personalised
Had a fantastic lunch here. Decided to order a number of plates to share between us and everything we had was great pulled pork, smoked chicken wings, sausage, corn and melon prosciutto salad. Perfect amount for the five of us dining. Service was very friendly. We sat right at the back of the outdoor area and it was a lovely way to while away a couple of hours.
Unfortunately the exorbitant price tag doesn't really match the dish we received, we were still hungry afterwards so we stopped in at McDonald's bomaderry and the hubby said if he knew what cat **** tasted like it would taste like the beer he ordered.
When we heard that chef brent strong had opened a new restaurant in berry, we were relying on visiting. we had tasted his exquisite meals in the last two years in bangalay dining in the shoalhaven and really enjoyed it. his new venture is “Harvest berry Mountain” on the main street of berry. this is essentially two places in one, with a smokehouse and beer garden from the back and a fine restaurant in the night, caffe on the day inside. the free space is a beautiful garden with garden tables, sunshades and green and a prominent smokehouse area, the slowly cooked meat like chicken wings, pulled verdant, smoked sausage and more served. we were only there for a drink and a snack and tried the burned ends on toast with blue cheese, pickled gurke and the delicious meat. it is a good snack with a beer to have. the venue has a large list of drinks, including beer and spirituose, in particular its own craft beer. this was brewed by renowned headbow, neal cameron. we tried to see some of their beer and hope in the future tasting paddels, as we think that people would love it. many cocktails here too and I was noticeable that there was even a non-alcoholic gin and tonic with sea pink. as good as the right one. we think it would be good to have some snacks such as olives, smoked nuts or washboards if they only wanted afternoon drinks. when they eat inside, it is a beautiful space with hidden bricks, polished wood floors, marble and white chairs and a prominent bar with a brass beer ****, drinks on the display, velvet chairs and copper industrial lights. we want them to see how the chefs work in the kitchen. the interior houses a fine dining option in the night with a 2 cursor menu at $60 per personor 3 courses at $80 per person. the food uses fresh and local ingredients. we recommend you check their website to perusate the menu. we returned for their breakfast, which some great options like a granola, egg and sourded and the options we have chosen. we loved that the breakfast here used quality ingredients and smoke techniques to provide a delicious meal. the house made pulled pork buzzed was beautiful and smokey and served beside an English muffin with a fried egg. we added a smoked sausage that ends it perfectly. Moreover, the smoked pumpkin with mushrooms, kale and labneh was also a great option. the prices for brekkie are also very reasonable. if they prefer something smaller, there are baked goods in the offer. the coffee is made with a home mix from a local nowra brat device, quite subtle mix, so if they are a strong drink, they order a double. also there are tees, chai and juice. a nice supplement to berry and we recommend a visit here if they are in the city. has become brent and the team for the great concept and performance.
Do not go here the staff are incredibly rudeOur friends were already in the venue, we walked in with a bag of donuts from the nearby donuts shop, we weren't eating them as we were holding them for the trip home. The venue refused us entry because of this even though we weren't eating them. Never seen a venue do something like this before even hatted venues.Really surprised you'd get that type of reception in a country town, I guess they feel they don't need to offer good service as they are on the main strip and will get walk ins regardless...there are plenty of places close by that are far superior than this place.
