Was really looking forward to dining at this restaurant but was disappointed in the end. The atmosphere is nice, but the service was awful.We waited 45 minutes for an appetizer to come out, and it was just prosciutto, melon and cheese... Which only takes a minute or two of prep time? Looking around, you could see many diners had empty tables and were looking around to see if their food was coming out yet. A couple nearby actually walked out, tired of waiting. We waited another 30-40 minutes after that for our entrees to arrive.Food was good, nothing to write home about. My fiancée 's pasta dish, the shrimp was overcooked and rubbery. All in all, it was 2 hours from the time we entered until we left for 2 people. Despite being comped a drink each from the house, I don 't think I would return due to the high price for bad service.

The place is very pretty but it was so packed that you couldn’t enjoy the atmosphere due to the fact that you were less than 6 inches from the table next to you on each side and couldn’t hear the person you were with. On top of that, they had live music that was so loud, it made for a terrible experience. The service was ok but lagged considering how many people were serving. We shouldn’t have waited as long as we did to just order drinks. As it was a holiday with required reservations, they should have known exactly how much staff they needed to support the evening so there was no excuse. I’ve had better service at an Applebees. On top of everything, it cost almost $500 for dinner for 2 to have a 3 course meal, 1 drink each and 2 bottles of water with tip. Absolutely ridiculous, not even close to worth the cost. I’m embarrassed to even say we spent that kind of money on this meal. The food was good, but no better than your pizza place down the street.Kid-friendliness: This is not a place for children.

We sat upstairs. We had a table of 8 to celebrate my adult daughter and husband's birthdays. There was a table of 10-12 young women at the table next to us who were literally screaming. We could barely hear the person next to us. Eventually they made their way down to the bar. I wish the host could have moved them along sooner. Ruined our experience.
