Mitama Japanese - Berkeley

We have ordered from Mitama several times it is consistently delicious. The fish is fresh, the miso and gyoza are hot and well prepared, and the selection is terrific.

Everything we ordered was mediocre at best and extremely expensive. The Nehihama was fishy smelly and tasting ... and the shiro maguro was so stringy with fat I could only eat half of if. Gyoza was ice cold

The Deluxe Sashimi was delicious, the fish is so fresh and tasty. And the rice and miso soup were great (its the little things that add up to a great meal). Mitama is my neighborhood sushi place and I love it. Fresh, delicious fish and friendly service.

The food was delicious fresh and well prepared. The Mitama roll was a big hit and the rainbow roll was spectacular. Each item was packed well and arrived looking lovely.

The food was okay, but the portion size for the kitsune soba and side miso soup was much smaller than I expected. The bento box was a better value, though the roll was kind of stale.
