Bidra med feedbackEat is delicious, but the service is müll. I went twice and it's always a terrible attitude, energy or just extremely rude when they can come by that I recommend it. if they had a better service, would probably be one of the biggest shops in the bay area.
My friends have been trying to put me on this place forever! Well, luckily I finally tried it. I'm surprised how well this tasted considering this is vegan. I got the strawberry cheesecake cinnamon roll and really enjoyed it! I honestly did wish it was not vegan because adding an egg would make a difference to the texture of it. Still a great cinnamon roll though! You order through kiosk and are able to customize your own or order one that has preset toppings. Price wasn't too bad considering this is vegan. There aren't a lot of places to sit thougn so just be aware of that. Otherwise, this is a place I'd go to if I'm craving for cinnamon rolls!
Super sweet and delicious. Our Plan B when there is no Crumbl Cookie nearby. Great assortment of varieties
I have been here multiple times, namely beacuse I used to love it. This spot was my first introduction to Cinnaholic, and have tried other stores which didn 't compare. It 's usually my dessert treat when I 'm in Berkeley as it used to be fantastic! All of that to say, something has changed. Not sure whether there are new owners? The inside appears like covid just now hit and they are trying to figure things out... disorganized and not welcoming. It didn 't even smell like cinnamon rolls inside, when the smell used to be irresistible. The staff ignored any customer, as there is a kiosk to order from (maybe it 's been this way but I haven 't been here in a while! so don 't ecpect to get your questions answered. Staff were coming and going in/out the door without acknowledging customers. The kiosk says you will get a text when your order is ready and you have to wait outside. My texts never came. Waited waited, watched people before me and after me get their order so I went in to ask had to stand there for a while, saying excuse me multiple times... and staff all but rolled their eyes at me as if i had done something wrong and acted as if my presence was an inconvenience to them. And of course my order was done long ago. The staff told me if you want to complain, complain to snackpass (and pointing to the kiosk machine and was further dismissive saying they don 't have anything to do with that system. All of my texts came as i walked out of the store. So here are my suggestions: Custumer service training for staff at least greet people when they walk in and ask whether they have questions. Smile. I 'm guessing in this day and age there is an indication to staff fulfilling orders as to whether the order came from within the store or from some mobile app. If they know people are outside waiting (since they ordered at the store , hande those differently, maybe even walk out and call our names? Staff were already walking in/out... fast food restaurants are better at this. If owners choose to use a kiosk for all in person orders, this is a choice. Thus, take responsibility, act like you care when there are glitches. All of this to say my roll wasn 't the same either. It didn 't have the same flavor as before (and no I 've never had covid, so my tastebuds are still in tact Plus it wasn 't even warm anymore. I am really bummed. I hope there is improvement or I don 't know this establishment will survive.
I was so psyched to check out this place after pouring over their website and online menu! But on a quiet Sunday night we were quoted a 10 minute wait. After 30 minutes, we left. No food. No apologies from staff. Rude and disrespectful staff members ruined our experience. No one cared about our wait while staff moved at a snail’s pace. They won’t let anyone inside the store (masked or not) so we stood in the cold. Stay home. Save your money. Check out another place in the area. I wish I could review their food but we never got it. And there was no manager on site. Isn’t that odd? I think whoever was managing didn’t want to deal with a customer’s inquiries about the whereabouts of their order.
