Nice personal restaurant with superior cuisine nothing to say for us except very good that positive so It is recommended to have come in the middle of August
Afternoon snack for a grown up family of three, went downhill at pace. Initially, the lady who took out our was friendly, polite and patient in dealing with our broken French. However the issues began to arise, as soon as our food left the kitchen. Unfortunately, our food ended up on the wrong table (an easy mistake to make), and after the other table began to cut into our food, a male waiter shouted across the tables, ordering them to stop. The food was picked up from said table, and attempted to be served to ourselves. My son, who is the strongest French speaker in the family, declined the offer of our pre cut food. The waiter understood ourselves and took the food inside, only for it to reappear 2 minutes later, pre cut! At this point, I was less than impressed, and summonsed the waiter, to remove said food at once. I received no apology and when I used my broken French to ask for one, I was met with a blank look. Fortunately, when our fresh food arrived, a new waiter did apologise and gave an apologetic thumbs up as well. On top of this the food was overpriced and nowhere near value for money.
We enjoyed the setting of this restaurant as well as the food. Set in a courtyard in Bergerac, in the sun. Absolutely lovely. We ordered Carbonara and a carafe of Bergerac Rosé, both were delicious! The service was prompt and polite, we would recommend!
A warm welcome, fresh and tasty products, decorated with a small wine of shepherdac. a delicious moment, congratulations to the restaurateurs
