Bidra med feedbackA little pricey, but definitely a friendly and welcoming spot for vegan food. The smoothies are delicious as is the omnom chorizo taco. Lots of vegan salad items to choose from. Sometimes they are short of entrees so be aware if you are expecting something and they don’t have it that day. Super friendly staff and cute decor inside. Sunny’s indeed.
Not sure what all the rave reviews are all about here. The food is definitely not any better than OK. As in, if you want healthy food without much pizazz, this place will do. But we had the Sunshine sandwich, which was just raw veggies on bread with a couple spreads, and the chorizo tacos, which in no world should ever be compared to chorizo. They were about two bites a piece, $10, and neither spicy nor seasoned. It was all fairly bland, actually. I expected more, but as is frequently the case in these parts, this place can’t seem to find a balance between flavor, portion size, and innovation. I’d maybe try one of their deli salad plates if I had to go back, but there are better places to eat nearby (like Crepes Paulette and the Meteor) so I would just skip this one unless you’re in the mood for kale salad.
The most adorable spot for breakfast or brunch! Vegan items are clearly marked, and all menu items have ingredients listed. Everything is health-focused. There is a wellness gift shop attached to the restaurant as well.
I had the Sunshine sandwich and it was a wonderful explosion of delicious flavors. Great atmosphere, loved the wall of widows where I could people watch. The owner stated about 70 of the menu is vegan. I highly recommend!
Multiple vegan options. Their sunshine sandwich, with vegan pesto, was fantastic. Also tried the roasted Brussel sprout salad, which I loved.
