Magaly's Mexican - Benson

My friend I were in the area for a few hours and wanted a quick bite to eat. We could have grabbed something at a chain restaurant but wanted to try something local and support a local business. It was not a good experience for us. We shared anentree. She and I do this all the time. Whether that was why we had such poor service or not, it did make us wonder. We had FOURdifferent servers. Yet, no refill on drinks. The gal who took our order never returned to us. The gal who brought our food wasvery pleasant and professional. The food was just ok. After waiting quite a while, we had to ASK for the check. They weren 'tthat busy, either. Then another gal, not our waitress, brought the check and took my friend 's credit card out of her hand whenmy friend was trying to find out where to pay. This gal gave it to ANOTHER gal and left it with her. My friend was not happy tohave her card go off somewhere . She ended up having to go up to the register to retrieve it. Despite this, she did add atip. Then my friend, being the easygoing woman she is, decided that maybe there were issues going on and reasons that we don 'tknow. And, she would just let it go. BUT then...after she got home and looked at her receipt, she had been charged for TWOmeals but the tip was not on it. She is trying to resolve this matter with the restaurant. I 'll post an update if she issatisfied with how it is handled. Regardless, I cannot recommend this restaurant at this time because of our experience.

Food was delicious. We stopped in for dinner while in Benson. I had the #3, my wife had the #7, and our son had a bean burrito. We will definitely stop by again if we are in the area.

February 2, 2017 my wife I just ate dinner here, it was marvellous, tasty, good quality, great service reasonable price. We highly recommend this restaurant.
