Kirchberghäuschen - Bensheim

Beautiful view, wide selection of wines, especially regional wines and delicious snacks to eat, something for every taste.

The location is of course great. The view is the hammer, the entire mountain road can be seen. It is obvious that you meet pensioners and walkers (with and without dogs). There are some tables with chairs and in the back area also a few benches. The place is open when the flag (long, red banner on the flag bars) is raised. Looks very good from below. I wouldn't sit in, too bad. In winter it is also open at times, then glowing wine and hot orange juice are sold there.

Stunning place in the vineyard. You have a beautiful view of Bensheim and the region, unfortunately also on the AKW Biblis and Ludwigshafen in good weather. You can sit very nice out there, unfortunately it gets tight inside. The map offers a defensive home kitchen, which is necessary after a busy hike. The area is adapted to a wide selection of wines.

There are various ways to go up the hill close to the city centre. Plenty of seeting outside with breathtaking views across the town to the Rhine and beyond. The place is well known for the fantastic fruit wines and local cuisine. It is somehow...self service, but all goes very fast, including the tasty food. Fantastic for families or groups. Great to walk back to town through the vineyards with the beautiful views.
